true to size but ankle is quite loose

Pros: The shoes fit true to size for the most part.

Cons:
The ankle section is quite loose on me. In order to fit correctly, the velcro section would have to be about half the length. It doesn't sound like much of a problem, since its velcro, but to make the ankle tight its "loop on loop" (rather than hook on loop) so the velcro doesn't work.

Also, the shoes are a little stiff.

Bottom line:
Decent budget shoe if you need SFA/5 shoes. They in no way impaired my driving and are easier to drive with than street shoes.

Remember that this style of shoe is very narrow, so if you don't have a a narrow foot go up a size. By lap 50
you will thank me.

Run a little narrow. Size 11 was a little snug on my 10 1/2 4E foot. Otherwise, good price. Reselling mine on craigslist right now - only worn one race weekend. Frederickburg, VA. yahoo - huntlarry.
