Gloves work fine but durability may be a problem

The K1 karting gloves I bought fit fine and work well. But after only 4 races (all sprints, our enduro season hasn't started yet), I noticed the rubber portion of the palms that grips the wheel is starting to delaminate. Actually, the rubber part is gone in several spots right down to the cloth backing. Once the cloth wears through, I'll need new gloves. For $45. I expected them to last longer.

High quality

I have been racing karts (just for fun) at a local track for a few years now. I never though about using gloves. I though gloves were only for the serious F1 drivers. Boy was I wrong. Before using gloves my hands would usually get blisters after a few races. It was never a big deal, but after deciding to get these gloves last year, my life changed. No more blister! These glove are great! They are really grippy comfortable too. I highly recommend these.
