Sometimes a drivers shoe is just not enough and socks provide an extra layer of protection. As advertised and priced right. If you need Nomex socks, these are as good as any others I've had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these.

Good fit

I hope to never find out if the flame retardant works but the socks fit well and have been comfortable to wear this race season. I wear the socks for the entire race day and they have been fine - no bunching in the toes or sliding down the calf. I am a size 10 wide and the large size is a great fit.
